Future Developments: Somerset - Wellington - Richmond
Ottawa’s west-end main streets are changing quickly. From Somerset Street West through Wellington West and along Richmond Road, a growing number of development applications are proposing everything from small-scale infill to major mixed-use towers with hundreds of new homes. Add in the massive transformation planned for nearby LeBreton Flats, and this entire stretch of central-west Ottawa is entering a new chapter.
As someone who lives in this part of the city, I’m especially interested in how these projects will shape the neighbourhoods, businesses, streets and communities we interact with every day.
